6/2 - Bit of an up date, Solar HWS Panels on, Completion Date will be 20/03

I haven't blogged for a while, for the last week the brickies have been slogging away in 40 + Degree heat. They've done a good job and at some stage this week I would expect that they will finish off. It appears that they have the window ledges and most of the garage to finish off. I don't envy the work they have been doing in this heat honestly.

I will take photo's of the completed brick work over the coming week.

We noticed that the solar hot water panels were on the roof yesterday.

I spoke to the construction manager on Friday and he advises that the Allworth expected completion and handover date is 20/03 so not long to go now at all (and he confirms that the date includes driveway, alfresco and turf down, which is just what we want). It's an exciting time for out little family. We will be able to back the trailer in and start unpacking straight away. This is hopefully the benefit of doing the tiles, carpet, driveway, alfresco sub floor and turf to front as apart of the package. And from all accounts we won't be unhappy with the Allworth finish.

Spoke to Supervisor 18/01

I was out at the block today and ran into our Site Supervisor. He told me that the roof tiles are being delivered tomorrow, and they will start work. Bricks will be delivered on Friday. One problem, Trend Windows have only just come back from leave today, so our Windows can't be delivered until 27/01, so the brickie has been put off until the windows get done..... Doh !

Gutters & Eaves are on , 17/01

14/01 , Roof Trusses go on, 15/01 - a few adjustments

A few photo's from the Western side (back of the house). The sun was too bright to take shots from the front of the house on my phone. Literally three days to erect wall frames, get the roof on to the fine tuning on day 3. The weather has been fantastic so hopefully this keeps up until the tiles go on through the week. Window frames should also be delivered and go in this week too. Fingers crossed.
